MeetingWave members can propose networking meetings that can be accepted by anyone - it's an easy and efficient tool for meeting new people, and provides a lot of control, targeting, privacy & flexibility. Click How It Works to learn more.
MeetingWave profile pages help people make informed decisions about who they choose to meet. Profile pages include information about a person's meeting interests, past or present employers, job title/profession, industry, schools attended, home town, hobbies, etc.
Verified Profiles
Use Your Verified Profile on MeetingWave or Elsewhere
Another way MeetingWave is an efficient tool for networking is through its functionality which allows members to have their work or school alumni email addresses "verified". Once MeetingWave verifies a work or school alumni email address, an indication of that verification is displayed on the member's profile. When someone sees verified email domains (e.g., @ibm.com or @brown.edu) on a profile, they will know that the member is associated with the university or company identified in the email domain. When networking online or offline, it is important to know that someone is who they say they are. MeetingWave only displays the verified domain - the member's personal email address will not be disclosed for everyone to see.
Use Virtually Anywhere
Members can use their MeetingWave profile urls (meetingwave.com/p/username) displaying the member's verified email domains on LinkedIn, with blog comments, and on Craigslist.
A member can also request to see someone else's verified MeetingWave profile url before meeting them, before bringing them into their network or before agreeing to buy or sell an item on Craigslist.
In order to create a Profile, you must be a registered user.
